About me
Description
Hello, I'm Max (second from the left on the image above), a student working my way through the IB Diploma Program, and if I had to describe myself, I'd say I'm equal parts science geek, sports enthusiast, and adventure-seeker. My favorite part of school is definitely physics, maths, and computer science. There's something trilling about finding the solution to a tough problem that keeps me hooked. I'm the kind of person who never leaves a problem unsolved, even if it takes the entire lesson. I'll dive into it with my friends, discuss possible solutions, and when we finally get the right answer, it's like winning the lottery (except the prize is just nerdy bragging rights, which I fully embrace).
But life isn't all about equations and code. When I’m not knee-deep in equations or trying to figure out why my code isn’t running, I’m usually out doing something active. I'm all about sports - football, tennis, ice hockey, climbing, you name it. There's nothing better than a good match that gets my heart racing, whether it's kicking a ball across the field or chasing down a tennis shot. I don't limit myself to one or even just a couple sports because, honestly, I just enjoy being in the game, whatever it is.
When I'm not on a field or court, you'll probably find me on my motorcycle. Riding is my ultimate escape, especially when I'm with friends. There's something about cruising outside the city, feeling the wind on my face, and exploring new roads surrounded by nature that's just unbeatable. It doesn't matter if it's a planned trip or a spur-of-the-moment ride, it's always an adventure.
And then there's my quieter, starry-eyed side - literally. I'm a huge fan of stargazing. Give me a telescope and a clear night sky, and I'll happily lose hours peering at planets, stars, and nebulas. It's even better when I can share that with friends or family. It's a unique feeling, looking up and realizing how vast and incredible the universe is - and how cool it is that I can see it up close.
But above everything else, family is what matters most to me. I love spending time with them, no matter the occasion. Whether it’s watching a movie together, playing a friendly (but competitive) game of tennis, or traveling to new places as a group, it’s always better when we’re together. Some of my best memories are from family trips, exploring new cultures and cuisines, or just laughing at each other’s bad jokes. Even when we’re just hanging out at home, there’s a sense of comfort and joy that comes from being around the people I care about most.
So yeah, I'm basically a mix of a science-loving problem solver, a sports fanatic, a bit of a dreamer who loves exploring the world, and someone who values family above all. Life's too short to stay in one lane, so I'm making sure to enjoy every curve, question, and starry sky all the way, with the people who mean the most to me.
